You can quickly remove the extra spacing between paragraphs in a Word document using the Replace tool. Choose Replace on the Home tab (or press Control + H) to open the Replace dialog. In the Find box type ^p^p and in the Replace box type ^p. Click Replace All to remove all the excess paragraph characters € the code ^p represents an end of paragraph character and must be typed in lower case for this process to work.
