When you have data validation rules applied to a cell or range in Excel, you can copy those rules to other cells without having to re-creating them. To do this first select a cell that has the rules applied to it. Press Control + C to copy the cell. Select over all the cells to apply the validation rule to and choose Paste > Paste Special. Select the Validation option and click OK.
